|Technical data of the phenolic||Standard quality D-S2, d0, norm EN 13501-1. Maximum arrow 0,5 mm, density 1,45g/cm3 according to the norm DIN 53479. Water absorption < 3%, norm EN 438-2. Possible under request: B-S2, d0 (ExM1) according to EN 13501-1.||The Tabebuia wood (ipé) has excellent conditions to be located either outdoors or indoors. Its really low saturation coefficient and high density determine a very limited movements of expansion and contraction, and in consequence a risk of fissure among the lowest known, with a density of 510 kg, drying of 12 - 15% and a medium hardness of 40N/mm2. All of the foregoing with a finish that is fine and warm.|
